TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTANCE AND DECISION TO USE BITKUB APPLICATION

Abstract

This quantitative study aimed to Technology Acceptance and decision to use the Bitkub Platform application of investors in Thailand. The independent variable was the Technology Acceptance comprising perceived usefulness and ease of use. The dependent variable was the decision to use the application. A set of questionnaires was used for data collection administered with 400 investors, aged 18-29 years old. They invested in cryptocurrencies on the Bitkub Platform application. Findings showed that perceived usefulness had an effect on the decision to use the Bitkub Platform application. It enhanced the convenience of cryptocurrencies trading and the efficiency in currency trading. Also, it improved the performance of the investors in evaluating cryptocurries. Besides, the Technology Acceptance based on perceived ease of use had and effect on the decision to use the Bitkub Platform application. This was because it was clear or easy to understand, not complicated to use and new investors did not have to put in much effort to learn how to use it.

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการศึกษาการยอมรับเทคโนโลยีและการตัดสินใจใช้แอปพลิเคชันแพลตฟอร์มบิทคับ (Bitkub) ของนักลงทุนในประเทศไทย โดยมีตัวแปรต้นคือการยอมรับเทคโนโลยี ประกอบด้วย การรับรู้ถึงประโยชน์ และการรับรู้ถึงความง่ายในการใช้งาน และตัวแปรตามคือ การตัดสินใจใช้แอปพลิเคชัน เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณและใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษามาจากนักลงทุน อายุระหว่าง 18-29 ปี ที่มีการลงทุนสกุลเงินดิจิทัลในประเทศไทยบนแอปพลิเคชันแพลตฟอร์มบิทคับ (Bitkub) จำนวน 400 คน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การยอมรับเทคโนโลยีด้านการรับรู้ถึงประโยชน์ (Perceived usefulness) มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจใช้แอปพลิเคชันแพลตฟอร์มบิทคับ (Bitkub) โดยแอปพลิเคชันแพลตฟอร์มบิทคับ (Bitkub) นั้นช่วยเพิ่มความสะดวกในการเทรดสกุลเงินดิจิทัล ช่วยเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการเทรดสกุลเงิน และช่วยทำให้สมรรถนะของนักลงทุนในการประเมินสกุลเงินดิจิทัลดีขึ้น และการยอมรับเทคโนโลยีด้านการรับรู้ถึงความง่ายในการใช้งาน (Perceived ease of use) มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจใช้แอปพลิเคชันแพลตฟอร์มบิทคับ (Bitkub) เนื่องจากแอปพลิเคชันแพลตฟอร์มบิทคับ (Bitkub) มีความชัดเจน สามารถเข้าใจได้ง่ายและไม่ซับซ้อนในการใช้งาน โดยนักลงทุนใหม่ไม่ต้องใช้ความพยายามมากนักในการศึกษาวิธีการใช้งาน
